Artworking, Graphic Design & Art Direction — Artwork, digital and print assets.
My connection to Oxford Art Factory runs deep. I was there on opening night 18 years ago, working the door, and from that moment OAF became a second home — watching local bands cut their teeth in the Gallery Bar, seeing international acts light up the Main Room, and discovering new art in the Cube and throughout the Factory.
Honoured to create the artwork and poster design for Oxford Art Factory’s 18th Birthday celebration, this project marked a full-circle moment. In collaboration with fbi.radio, the whole-venue event celebrated 18 years at the heart of Sydney’s independent music, arts and nightlife culture.
I developed the visual identity through hand-crafted artworking, translating the history, energy and sense of community into a bold, celebratory graphic language. The work was adapted across digital and print formats, ensuring consistency while retaining a tactile, human quality.
The aim was to create visuals that felt authentic and inclusive — a tribute to the artists, audiences and late-night moments that have shaped Oxford Art Factory, and to the independent spirit that has kept it thriving for 18 years. Special acknowledgement to Mark Gerber for his vision and enduring support of the arts.
